Monitor calibration

Quick question...what methods of monitor calibration are people using ?...ie what make , and how difficult is the process for someone who is no computer expert?

Colormunki photo, I can create printer profiles with it too.

X-Rite i1DisplayPro & i1Profiler software.

I used the i1Display2 before that, but they go off with age.
