Monitor Calibration....your chance to try it.

What an excellent and very generous idea Canon Bob.

I am getting a new monitor today and would love to calibrate it so can you please add me to the list if possible.

Ok, an update on this, i PM'd Triggaaar early last week for his contact details, but have not received a reply as yet, i guess he could be on holiday, so what i was thinking is to send to the next on the list which is Galaxy66, then if Triggaaar has been on hols, he could probably jump the Que when he gets back in touch, if anyone disagrees with this please say why and your reasons, although i guess ultimately it's up to Canon Bob, as it's his kit, i'm just trying to do what maybe fair here, but your thoughts appreciated :)

I wasn't having a dig at you just using this lull in the proceeding to remind everyone.

Recorded delivery is not enough as the insurance is not high enough, it has to be RMSD. It is one of Bobs conditions! :D
 
I know that i'm new a will proberbly get shot down . But looking at the thread as a suggestion why not look at passing it around locally before posting on . People could just meet up and pass it on . It might also get around a little quicker . I know that it's kind of jumping the que for some people just a thought thats all .

Should only take 20 mins to calibrate monitor but sometimes things go wrong ? :thinking:
 
As an update, I received the calibrator yesterday afternoon 10th Sept, I need to get my son to do the business for me, I will be in touch with "Vibrantcolour" for the address and will be posting it on Saturday or Monday via RMSD, it should be received Tuesday at the latest.

As Canon Bob is far to involved in other things at the moment due to his move to sunny France I offered to update the list in his absence, I have went back two or three pages of this thread and added 13 names let me know if anyone has been missed out or if I have miss-spelt their username:) (I will check after posting this in any case)

I missed my chance as I was on the list a while back but I was away from the forum for abit!

I would like to put my name back into the pot.

Or if the gadget is in the Warwickshire area then I would be happy to pick it up and deliver it back to the person who's turn it is whilst covering half of the persons costs for posting it on?

With mine I just put the cd in and away it went. Instructions were easy to follow and it did not take long to do.
