Great stuff got it today will move fast!!!! and pass on.

just installed it ok on vista but when i put license number in the OK button wont light up and i can't move on any ideas?

I too have a spyder pro, that barely gets used and perhaps I could chip in with this philanthropic venture.
Is there a way to ensure continuity of use, and also protecting it by way of damage etc?
I'm sure with 2 in circulation the list could be well maintained, it is advised to recalibrate on a monthly basis, but at £5 a time for posting RMSD, at 12 times a year (if you did want to do it monthly) you'd be halfway to buying one.
Would welcome the OP's thoughts and how it has gone so far?

How's it gone?

Some people turn it around in a day or two and others keep it longer....around 15 weeks is the record. I was expecting that it would average two members/week but it appears to be much slower than that.

It's not really intended to keep people up to date with calibration but more a chance to see if it would be a useful tool for them.

There is another Spyder in circulation too but it's maintained on a different thread.

Oh OK, didnt see the other one, and yes I realise it's meant more to let people see the results rather than keep everyones monitors calibrated.
As there are 2 in circulation, I suspect mine is probably surplus to requirements.
15 weeks!!! thats taking the **** somewhat?
I hope they were publicly named/shamed/flogged? ;)
 
I'll be sending the calibration on to AndyD55 in about an hour, i've been having pc probs which i've now sorted out so i can calibrate my monitor. Thanks CanonBob and sorry for the slight delay :)

Just so the process moves along smoothly and Bob get's his monitor back at some point, can we all agree to:

a) take it upon ourselves to PM the next person on the list to ask for their address when we're finished with the monitor.

b) all alter our profile settings to get an email from the TP site when a PM has been left for us.

It's not in any way a slight at you db247, it's just that I assumed that I'd get a PM when my time came to receive Bob's monitor and haven't been checking the thread...........

How are people finding their monitors once calibrated?


I recently acquired a monitor calibration unit, the i1Display 2

Have to say it has transformed both my work and home monitors, and rather than completley different interpretaion of colours they now are pretty much identical.
