Hi
Can anybody recommend a monitor calibration tool for setting up my monitor, the color on mine look alittle off .

regards Shannensdaddy

I'm not sure about ones to get, but I can recommend avoiding the Pantone Huey, even if you see them cheap second hand. I've had three of them and all of them gave strong green tints to any of the monitors I tried them on. Definitely one to avoid!

I have the spyder pro 4 works fantastic for me. Bit pricey but well worth the money.

+1 on the Spyder, made a big difference to my screen.

The Pantone Huey is awful, I sent mine back as faulty. Like mentioned, very green screen!

It depends on your budget, I had a spyder3pro and moved to a i1 display pro.

I also have the spyder 4 pro, which is plenty good enough for me & tbh not that expensive, but depending how critical/accurate you need your monitor to be & what your budget is. (also which monitor you do have)

Color Munki - not expensive and I am very pleased with the end results. I have a multi monitor set up and it gets the two nicely into balance.

Untill you get your calibration device here is some info and tips hot to get you monitor calibrated ball park. Monitor calibration tips

I recently got a color munki display, and it`s made a big difference to my led screen (acer). Easy to set up, and use.

Another color muki display. Stupid name but it works fine.

I've owned a few but now use the colormunki photo, it's a great piece of kit and calibrates the printer too for perfect matching

i have just bought spyder 4 pro and used it today and it seems to have really adjusted the monitor brightness much lower (Acer S271HL) ........ does that sound about right lol
