Monitor Calibration - ICC Profile Issue (Vista Related?)

It could be that your laptop's gfx card doesn't support multiple LUTs so you can only calibrate one monitor.

No, I don't think that is the problem. When I calibrate and get the option to se the uncalibrated screen, it only changes the monitor I have calibrated, and according to what I've read, this proves that the GPU supports more than one ICC. Also, DisplayProfile lets me pick different ICCs for ant of the monitors, and changes the color settings.

I've tried many different way the last couple of days, but with no result. It seems that either Vista, the Huey PRO-software, or the GPU-driver (Nvidia GeForce 8400M GT in my case) has a problem with an additional monitor, and this is hindering the ICC-profile to be saved.

Then the only thing left is some kind of permission problem with Vista that's stopping the Huey s/w from writing the ICC profiles. You could try changing the properties > compatibility settings for the Huey calibration .exe so it runs as an administrator and see if it works then.

Tried fixing the administrator thing already, both the Huey PRO.exe and the tray. It didn't help.

I looked under "Roaming" in my user account and found a folder called Pantone/HueyPRO. Inside was a file called "SIDiagnostics" that had the following in inside:

For me it doesn't make any sense, but maybe for someone else? Could there be clues in there?

Hmm, well I'm stumped. The log is clearly showing two different monitors with no obvious errors. I'm sure it could be made to work but I think it's a case of being in front of the machine and poking about

:bang:The funny thing is that when I do calibrations now, the HueyPRO s/w remembers the profile name I gave the profile that is not to be found. I searched for some kind of temporary file that could be the profile, but no luck.

And Pantone's support office seems to be on vacation for quite some time...:bonk:
