I actually woke up around four.......tossed and turned for a while and then decided to have a lie in and see if I can catch up with some sleep.......which is not really happening at the moment

Quite possibly........but at least it's a lie in even if I don't sleep

TBH I was exactly the same, last night, slept till 3:30 wide awake by 4am.
Got up did some editing, killed 9 (so far) spammers.
And all before breakfast. However,
I've just cooked scrambled eggs on toast, grilled tomatoes & bacon.
And a nice strong cup of coffee
All going down a treat (y)

Got up to make some scrambled egg, toast and bacon.....as it sounded like what the doctor ordered........no bloody bread or bacon and only one egg.......but on a positive note.....I have 6 vine tomatoes and a bowl of coco pops........

It's his age, T.! (Only know that because I sometimes have to get up at that time for a [probably!] similar reason!)

Glorious morning here now BTW - bright blue sky and not a cloud visible from where I'm sitting.

I guess i am pretty close to that stage too, except i lay there refusing to get up lol..... and yes lovely and sunny here too, cold though

Believe me, it's far better to get up than to hope the feeling will go away... TBH, I'm more than happy getting up at 4 in the summer, although it's a bit less welcome at this time of year!

lol yes that's true! Yet even though I know the feeling won't go away I still try and hold on... You'd think I'd learn by now eh..
I'm used to waking early and I don't really mind, peace and quite with coffee is always good :D
