Evening :)
Im off to Monaco nxt week for few days :) I hope that maybe some1 from here was there before and could answer me on few silly questions :
1) Im flying to Nice as its nearest airport...Whats the easiest and cheapest way to got to Monaco?
2) is there any night transport between Monaco and Nice? i hope to go to Nice for one evening
3) any places worth to see in first place? The whole place is full of nice architecture but maybe there are some places that I can not miss?;)
And the last one and maybe most important one.....

How not to spend to much money in Casinos:D
Thx
Lukas

its a really nice place.. well worth a trip
not sure about Nice, but i went from Cannes on the train. I'm guessing you can do the same from Nice. Monaco station is quite awesome too, its built inside the mountain.

i really loved the place.. its not as expensive as you might think either

I might go to Cannes as well and maybe St'Tropez ;)
I've heard that Nice is great at night so I have to go there as well and hopefully there is some way to go back to Monaco by night;)
Thx for the advice about old town:) love those small streets with cafes:)

The casino is well expensive but worth a visit just to see the exotic cars parked outside. Don't expect to get inside with your camera though...

I've been there three times, but always on F1 weekends so everything is totally different, and I stayed in Nice on one of the trips. The best day to visit there is the day before the first practice day on the F1 weekend: all the playboys (and girls) with their mega expensive motors all turn up to show off.

Everywhere is nice, what can I say!

Top tip: work out how much money you'll need, then double it ~ it's very expensive!

Was there F1 week this year. Stayed in Nice. I have a couple of pictures up on a thread called 'So nice in Nice' - these were taken from the castle on top of the hill (old town).

So nice in Nice

Would definitely recommend a visit to Nice - well worth half a day or so's walk round, and there are some nice restaurants in the main square, down by the old town (will try to remember/look up the name).

I felt Cannes was a bit of a let down - not much to see there apart from fast cars going very very slowly up and down the main drag, although the film festival was still on at the time. Nice sandy beach, mind you...and plenty of boats.

Although we didn't stop there, Villefranche-Sur-Mer looked very (small and) pretty, and my wife has said that Eze is lovely too (from a previous visit).

Antibes was also a bit meh, although not sure we saw the best bits (if there are any!).

Getting around by train is definitely the best way, although I'm not sure of the times, but you could probably find that out via the Internet.
