Mogrify overlay mode for watermarks

I'm using - or attempting to use Mogrify to place a NON transparent banner across images. What overlay mode should I use? Normal still makes the banner opaque / transparent.

What am I doing wrong?

I have not used it for a while, i seem to remember screen and hard light worked for me..!

I just kept trying and naming the file with the overlay type till i found the best.

Thanks Mac. I agree with your findings. Just seems strange that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to achieve 100% opacity :-(

Ok - I'm being stupid. I can just do it straight out of light room. No need for Mogrify.

yep - v3 LR does it all! BTW LR v 3.4 is now available.
