Modern equivalent of reading the paper on the toilet.

I was watching this baking program, and the woman was wearing a bracelet with a link chain, and the chain kept touching the pastry items. I though about when she goes to the toilet and wipes herself, surely the long chain around her wrist, will touch her bare skin being wiped. o_O

Don't you think this is just a little bit obsessive?

I always take my phone into the loo with me, but cannot remember when I last used it. I just know that when I don't take it, then I will miss an important call. I do however, take books to read, usually history or political, because I find them relaxing.

Are you sure it was a baking program, if she kept touching her pastry bits :p

I can't even recall what program it was now, but one of the Chefs kept mopping his brow with a tea towel, then used it to dry a plate. :puke:

No need for a phone as we have a magazine rack in the loo which usually contains a current classic bike and car magazine + Beano annual and other oddments. Updated regularly.

Only other place I would not have a magazine rack, and that would be the kitchen. Just imagine all the greasy stains, and finger marks left by others. o_O

On a side note ~ that b****y advert for toilet air freshener showing the seat cover left up! Not just smells get on the surfaces & in the air.

Granted aerosols generated by flushing will disperse even with the cover down but not as much as if left up!

On the throne? Must be a crappy job(bie...)

Some people just can't put their mobile phones down for long. I have to admit I am always on my laptop, although I don't use it in the toilet. I only use the mobile at night, listening to music.
