Right, I'm fed up of purestorm... they havnt accepted my profile in 3 months now!!! Other sites have, don't understand it!

What are the other favorites places to go out there at the moment?

I am like the OP, I feel the criteria and strictness of purestorm can put some people off, but then again with the amount of wierdo's out there its good to know these sites are moderated well to stop people meeting up with complete strangers.

As said above I hear model mayhem getting mentioned quite alot.
 
I'd use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the purestorm home page to ask what is happening. Theyye usually quite quick to reply to messsages.

I've been a. member of all of them but these three are the best.
 
I registered with Purestorm and didn't here anything for ages. Used the contact us button and was told it takes "24 to 48 hours to approve an account". This was more like 48 days of waiting for approval. Still patiently waited to no avail and contacted them again they replied with the same response as before. Waited again then sent a sarcy e-mail and had my application rejected within the hour :shake:
 
To be honest many of the better models are generally on all 3 sites i.e. Purestorm, Model Mayhem and Net-Model, so you are not missing out on much. The only thing you have to watch for is they sometimes go under slightly different names due to their existing name already being taken when they applied.

Everybody seems to have there personal preference and all of the sites have advantages and disadvantages. With regard to how your profile is displayed and how many pictures you can add, how often you can do this etc. I must admit though I personally prefer the way Purestom works to the other 2, but have profiles on all 3.
 
Have worked with quite a few from each of the sites over the last 3 months and be sure 'some' models will have a filter set ready to pounce on any new member in their area.

When i say pounce, i mean 'Hi love your work, by the way my rates are....'

Have a good dig around and sure you can make it work out for shoots.
 
yes applied to be a member on pure storm a week ago still not been accepted.
