Hi All

need some advice on sourcing models. Im putting together a shoot mainly as a workshop / get together.

I need to source some models who are willing to trade time for practice and images. No expereinece necesssary. No nudity / glamor. over 18 preferred.

I have put a few ads in the likes of gumtree / craiglist etc and whilst i have a few responses they are not (and i mean this is the nicest of terms) quite what i am looking for. I have a 'look' that im trying to achieve.

I have an account on model mayhem but i need some images for the account. I have some in mind but these arent 'model' shots in a studio etc which is what most togs on there have. I cant get the account without the shots and i cant get the shots without a model.

So, im after some advice really on where to source models looking to trade some time for images, on an outdoor shoot.

I have a Makeup artist and she is willing to get quite creative, stylist, lighting gear etc. etc. Just need someone with the right photogenic look.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Will give purestorm a whirl. Its the getting an account bit thats tricky. I need to get some decent shots so that people are willing to trade time, but just starting out on this its proving tricky to get someone of 'model' looks to get the intial shots.

You could try PurplePort, you don't need "model" images to join, just post a few images to show that you are serious and good luck :)
