This grew legs since I posted! The question that's getting answered wasn't originally as I read it so might as well add a second post in here.
Firstly, my interests at the minute are fashion style shoots, possibly swimwear/lingerie included. My current "bill" requires a certain type of model. Unfortunately overweight/bad skin doesn't fit the bill right now so they'll get a no. I'm not judging them on whether I think they are attractive or not so anyone suggesting that I only shoot models that I find attractive are talking bull (and I know no posts were directed at me specifically! Just making the point
)
Secondly, if my bill changes and I decide to shoot something to do with weight problems or similar... then all those "pretty" models would get a no. They now don't "fit the bill".
Anyway, wouldn't mind replying to a couple of posts too while I'm here!
Don't want them on my porfolio just yet. Might in the future. But you're making quite a presumption there in that it's all 3 in most cases. I would hedge a bet that most people that are in a relationship only fall into the third bracket. I don't think my other half wouldn't be happy with it. If so I wouldn't do it out of respect, would be nothing to do with her "not allowing me". She knows I'll do what I bloody want anyway and if she said "you're not allowed" me being stubborn would probably do it out of spite then!
. But, we know how each other work and I have a feeling she wouldn't like it, so for that reason I'm not awfully bothered not having it on my portfolio.
For 90% of the cases that's just rubbish. I'll photograph blokes too, does that make me homosexual?

For those who won't shoot 'adult' models, are you embarrassed or scared of the model or is it that your better half won't let you.
All 3 in most cases I suspect.

Leching under guise of "hobby"
