Hi all

Need some advise from system users of the d7000/7100
I'm using a 3100 at the minute and having some really good studies with it

I'm looking into an up grade now and thinking of the said units

I take photos of planes a lot and head studies

I hear there's a difference from nikon with full frame and non full frame lenses/ bodies would someone please help me understand this please

As you can tell I'm new to DSLR's the good old roliflex has fell short of upto dateness

any advise would be great

Not too much difference between the two other than 24mp sensor compared to 16mp sensor and focus systems 39 point and 51 point. Both the cameras you have mentioned are dx (cropped).regarding lenses only dx lens work properly on dx bodies. Full frame lenses work on both fine.
