Yes
My Nokia mobile has suddenly stopped working but for the life of me I'm not sure what's caused it.

It may have been the 5 gallons of stagnant water that I managed to throw down my trousers moving rubbish last night but I'm not sure that would have had such a dramatic affect.

There's a possibility that going through the washing machine in my trouser pocket could have hastened it's demise but it was only a cool wash.

Alternatively the two hours in the tumble drier could have had a minor effect but surely if anything that would have reversed any affect that the washing machine may have had.

I now have a very clean and dry non functioning mobile.

Given the above I can only assume that there is a manufacturing defect with the phone and will be contacting Nokia later to demand a replacement.

Fortunately the sim card has survived and is working in my spare phone.

lolol, try taking the battery out and drying the phone out somewhere warm, you might be lucky.

Drop it down the toilet, maybe it doesn't like being clean which is why it's stopped working? :p

Nokia's are so damned un-reliable TBH
I had one in my water proof coat (real tree, so not a cheapy) pocket
When I fell in a lake last winter. (don't ask)

So actually I am not 100% sure who to blame.
But reading through your sorry story, I guess Nokia ;)

I went snorkelling with one once (don't ask)

Let's just say nowhere safe to leave things and I had a "waterproof" (yeah right) bag........ never worked since.

Take it apart and place it in a sealed container covered completely in rice. Use an old chinese takeaway tub if you have one.

That does the trick nearly every time.

Plain boiled or egg-fried?
