Lol I'm ok with the rain but not when wearing a fine hand made suit and whipping out delicate electronics. Tonight ill be enjoying the weather when walking my dog wearing appropriate attire.

You two are as bad as the people who were supposed to be on a course with me this morning! It's only a drop of rain

True, but I still can't get into Guildford today - might go for a walk later.

Have to admit that I wasn't too upset by them crying off! I had to be at the far end of town anyway so the extra couple of miles to the golf club course venue (!) wasn't a real drag. It did mean I was driving back into town at 8:30ish though so had to sit in the "rush hour" traffic (which down here is more like slow moving that dead stop and only goes on for 15 minutes). Luckily my car isn't a bad place to sit and the stereo is at least as good as the home setup!

Not sure any phone can give the instant shutter response that an SLR or similar can - I know that mine can't deliver it (Nokia 625 IIRC).

Mine goes up to 1/16000 and it cheats with something called living images.

Actually I think this iPhone 6 has met my expectations with regards to speed to photo from pressing. It seems instant.

I think the iPhones camera has not improved like other phone cameras have.
I think you are very much mistaken and don't appreciate what has changed over time. It is a huge difference in a very slim quality package.
