mobile phone insurance?

I use the phone insurance that comes with my bank account. £6 per month with like for like replacement anywhere in Europe. Extra £2 per month on top for worldwide cover.

This is with the Natwest Advantage Gold account with a iPhone 3GS. Never had to call them up can can't speak for that side of things, but it's the same number you dial for the travel and car insurance etc and thats pretty good service.

I did through first directory. Got the cash back as they can't replace iphones apparently.

It's probably worth that kind of money if you've an expensive phone....

I've had mine with O2 for ages, it's only £5 and covers my iPhone, I was advised not to cancel it, because new iPhone insurance is more like £15!!!

Unless I had an iPhone, I wouldn't bother. All the other makes devalue very quick, whereas the apple all hold their price, in which case its worth it IMHO.

Check with your home insurance provider if you have - there will often be options to include here.
Check with your bank as mentioned - some banks have accounts with benefits including mobile phone cover.
