Missing files

I have just downloaded some RAW files from my Sandisk CF card to LR4. The files were showing perfectly on the camera and in the previews in LR before importing them. However two of the files shoe "missing" after import.

I have never had this happen before. Any ides welcome please.
 
Has no-one any suggestions?

Thanks for your suggestion, but these were fresh shots which had never been downloaded before. In any event, I have the option to refuse duplicates unticked.
 
No idea, maybe you unchecked a couple of tickboxes on the import window? maybe a bad card, Ive never come across the issue before...sorry
 
OK, thanks again. I'm tending towards a dud card but I've never had a Sandisk fail. After I imported the shots I could, I reformatted the card and all subsequent test shots have been fine.

Very odd.
