Driving along (without the camera of course) when I came through a part of Cheltenham where they are tearing down council flats. These flats must be about 15 floors & one had 1 outside wall demolished from top to bottom leaving all the original interior rooms showing. It was great to see all the different colours schemes, plus 1 room had a cracking Harley Davidson sign painted about 12 foot across. Would have made a great shot  :sadcry: Unfortunately it will be demolished by tomorrow

I know how you feel , I was driving into London a few weeks ago straight into a lovely sunrise . There was a footbridge over the road with somebody pushing a bicycle over it perfectly sillhouetted against the sky.

The worst bit was I did have my camera and the traffic did stop, but only after I passed the bridge :(

Aaahh ... the ones that got away !?!

There's a fisherman in all of us bursting to get out !

Toughie Dave - life is hard and then you blow a cracker ! I have started carrying my best friend and wife's (same person !) compact on a jic basis ... following comments from others here on their doing the same !

No camera phone?

I hate mobiles with a passion.....probably because my job entailed being on the phone so much ;) My mobile is a £20 s/h thingy that does the basics.

Hmm... I can imagine it with your description.

Cracking shot! :thumb:

LOL...think I'll enter it for the Mono comp ;)

Was walking back to work after my lunch break the other day. A couple of minutes away I figured I'd put the camera back in the bag because there's never anything interesting on that bit of road and I don't really like all my colleagues looking at me funny, wondering why I'm walking around with a camera on my break.

Anyway... Camera goes back in the bag. I zip the bag up, look up and a kid on a bike's doing a wheelie down the street right past me as a group of construction workers look on from further up the road.

Well done Jamey.
