Hi folks,

I've just switched to mirrorless and previous bag is miles too big now. Can someone recommend me a bag preferably messenger style that will hold an xt2, a couple of lenses and leave me space for college stuff like notepads or maybe even a laptop. I'm not looking to spend over £100 unless it's something special.

A used billingham Hadley Pro and you'll never have to buy a bag again

Think Tank Speed Demon or Speed Freak - depends on what notepad / computer you carry. Have a look to see if will hold what you want. I think a Speed Freak will be what I get for XT2 outfit, but I need to carry some remote flashes as well.I haven't got them yet, but know I need to.

I have a Hadley, at least my son has it, as I use one from Courierware. Tough, waterproof, loads of pockets, takes a MacBook Pro (unlike my Hadley), very safe, doesn't look like a camera bag. Ships in a few days from USA.

They used to do small walking camera bags. We both have one. Seems they stopped doing the photographer version.

Thanks guys. I don't actually carry a laptop but thought I could use the space for college notepads etc. I'll check these out.

I use a manbag and a Tenba BYOB insert.

What do you keep in the insert? How much equipment can it store?

I have the BYOB 7 and it fits my EM1ii with 12-40 pro attached, the 40-150 pro next to it (tight squeeze height wise if I want to zip it closed but you don't have to) and another smallish lens between the two. Lots of pockets and stuff on the outside for memory cards etc.
