Mirage software ?

Happy New Year to all.

Any opinions on mirage software for printing? This came free when I bought an new Epson R2880, but I have not downloaded it so far.

I use Windows 7 64bit and Elements 10 and print from the Elements window, but wondered if this new software is that much better?

We used it with our 4880, it's a great bit of software, but I was under the impression that the newer version isn't free any more.
