Minx's 52 for 26

Nice one Minx :)

Nice one, love how the railway is framed in the background.

A nicely worked image Alison. I like the light and the railway lines framed in the background.

Lots of lines and angles to ponder there, well spotted

Took a walk out to a rusty old bike that had been left rotting in the woods for months only to find it had finally been cleared away which scuppered my plans.
So eventually I took this instead.

Love the composition of the windows one. The brick wall taking up the bottom third and the 'pillar' going out the top are great. Might be one worth trying in B&W? The bricks may stand out more and could probably make the sky a bit more interesting.

Love your rusty shots Alison and your windows shot fits the theme perfectly.

It's a shame about the sky, but the window is quite interesting and a good choice for the theme.

Rust and decay. Nice use of DoF and you can still tell there's a Landy in there.

Windows: I like the composition and the way the brickwork isolates the windows against the sky.

Rust and Decay, great DoF and yes I can tell it’s a Landy too.

Windows, great subject, shame that the sky is grey and the light is a bit flat. I might have been tempted to play with the colour balance or something to draw it out a bit more.

What is it? Is it a vehicle / car windscreen?

Interesting subject the rust one.

Windows works for me :)
I believe LC2 is correct (except the spelling)
Looks like a Land Rover Forward Contol to me, excelent choice of vehicle :)

Thanks for the comments everyone

I did look at that but preferred the colour version

Only one pencil was killed in the making of this image.

I would still use the short bit. :)

Very clever and effective!

I would use both halves, but I'm tight.

Thanks for all the feed back

I found it like this in the bottom of my bag, the plastic coating is still holding it together.

I will use both halves too.

Timing is everything, how many times have we all taken a picture in the wrong week. You’ve got the vibe of the day.

Both good images for the rainy challenge Alison, I really like your "through" shot.
