minolta X700 questions

hi !

have recently got this beauty in my palms.

I was wondering - can I use it with wireless flash triggers, although I have sold all mine but would love to use such stuff again as I still have softbox etc.

any ideas ?

It's got a standard hot-shoe, so it should work with the usual radio-poppers. They only work with the main central contact point from the hotshoe anyway, so if they physically fit, they pretty much work.

It's only the one's with the funny hotshoe like the sony cameras that need camera-type specific triggers (well - unless we're talking BIG money and radio TTL control stuff like pocketwizards)

Yeah those Yangon, yangton, ying yang (forget the name, its an age thing)cheap radio triggers you see so often mentioned on here in other forums.

I got this one Follow me to the Amazon page and so long as it has a normal hot shoe then it will work. Have used these on my digi, 35mm and MF kit.

Fully manual mind you no TTL or anything.

that means I'll be able to stick to x700 even if I'm doing photoshoots

It seemed to have hotshoe, just wanted to double check hope the contact timing will be up to speed.
