Minolta dimage 7i

Hi iv recently got a Minolta dimage 7i dslr i am new to DSLR camera's and would like some tips on how to capture my greyhound running.

I tried taking some pictures tonight of her sat down but have failed big time lol.
Hope you can help me out.

I can't see your picture! Make sure you've put it in the comment correctly. You just need the click on 'insert image' then paste the url of your image in there.
