MINOLTA 50MM F1.4 MD ROKKOR PRIME

Hi all,

Was thinking of buying a Minolta 50mm F1.4 MD and a Minolta MD MC lens to Fuji X-Pro1 X-E1 Adapter from Rainbow Imaging.

Has anyone got any experience of the Minolta 50mm F1.4 ?

Yes. I have a Rokkor 50mm f1.4 and I use it on my Panasonic G1 and Sony A7. IMVHO it's a really nice lens.

I did a little test here... look for the Southpark figures...

I have an MC Rokkor PG 50/1.4. Its a nice lens with great bokeh and wonderful build quality. But mine is not incredibly sharp wide open. Stopped down its fine. I can highly recommend most of the 50/1.7 Minoltas though. I have had several and all are pretty damn sharp wide open. My favorite is actually the older MC Rokkor PF 55/1.7, the second version with the more pronounced focusing ring. Very sharp little lens.
