Mini Tripod for Remote Cameras

Looking for a mini tripod for my remote camera when at the football. I currently use a little Manfrotto one, which is perfect for the horse racing but lacks a little height for the football. Kinds of needs to be 6-8 inches bigger........... (doesn't everything!)

So just wondering what you 'togs would suggest. It needs to hold a D700/D3s, Nikon 14-24mm and a Pocket wizard.

What are the Gorillapods like?

Gorillapod SLR Zoom will easy take a D3S and 14-24mm, ive one and its good with my D3S and 70-200mm

I also use a gorillapod but sometimes find I need more height. I might try one of those cheapo tripods with extendable legs and centre column instead.
