They are amazing, B+W is really growing on me!

Im tempted to-do a B+W 365 next year...

I've had some of his (Nick Brandt) books on my Amazon wishlist for a while now - just need my wife to pick up the hint.

Awesome stuff there...

As a side note, he is married to the actress Orla Brady, who was in the Mistresses show..

i seem to remember brandt and magnum as being the best of the best

didnt he do really good landscapes as well in primary colours

fab site

Truly stunning!

Just realised that he has an exhibition on this week in West London until 3/10 - would love to go along to that, but not sure I can make it...

Its a long time since a set of images has actually brought tears of joy to my eyes, that is simply the best set of images I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Wonderful, wonderful work.

Thank you for sharing.

I saw him in a magazine recently, his work is absolutely exceptional. Good to see a wildlife photographer making heavy use of post processing. I always thought there were way too many hyper-realistic pictures of lions and whatever.

Some say, too much..

I wanna see the negs though :D

Probably very unimpressive (comparatively), it's amazing what decent post processing can do.:)

(That's not a slight on him or the photos, they are beautiful, just a mention that Post processing is a really important tool to be used)

I'll echo that - thanks for posting the link.

I happened to be on a course in London on Friday, and as it finished mid afternoon, managed to get along to the gallery.

If the photos look amazing on a PC screen, that is nothing to how impressive they are hung on the gallery wall.

Example - One of the elephants head on over 6 foot high with really good quality printing.

Truly, truly awesome.

I would hope not, but what you don't know won't hurt you..

I gotta say, a mixture of scanned 6x7 and extreme digital post, is an explosive forum discussion....
