Migrating from CS3 to 5/6 - settings/workspace

So I feel I finally want to upgrade from Photoshop CS3.

I'd love to upgrade as fast as possible when I do it with all actions, settings, and workspace as I have in CS3 right now WITHOUT having to start from scratch/upload every action, set the layout/etc etc

So those of you that have upgraded, any suggestions or tips?

I know I can do individual bits but looking for the best hassle free way

You can probably import your actions etc and possibly the preference file, no idea. I loaded mine from scratch as it meant that while changing it to my preferences I could learn/find the new features along the way

I have all my own actions/brushes etc in a separate file from the ones that go in the Adobe programme file area so that they are safe if I forget when I upgrade/reinstall for any reason and I just load the from that file (Users/app file/roaming etc - or similar)

Not what you are looking for but proves you are not being ignored
