It's a fair old trek for me, but I reckon I'm gonna throw myself down the open road and make this event, looks like a great entry, and the stages are some that I've been meaning to get to for over a year.
Just wondered if anyone had any advice regarding shooting this event. Ie: I'd like to shoot both pikes peak and sweet lamb, but I don't know whether it's possible to get to both stages in a day? I'd like to catch 3 stages in all, if it was possible. Also any advice on best parking spots, or sections of the stages that would be a "don't miss" for a wayward northerner?
Thanks in advance
Matty

Good shout on that info thanks. I wonder whether there's time to get to Sweet Lamb between watching two stages at Pikes Peak.
It'll be close to a 10hour round trip for me - but it looks worth it.
Where were you thinking of heading to? You been to the stages before??

I haven't been for 6+years so all new to me again! Will be going pikes for kick off! Not sure where yet though! Going to try dash over to sweet lamb stage, mid way through not sure yet! Will try get some more info on it!!
10 hour all round trip- now that's dedication ha! First set of stages are up hill, it's more interesting when it's turned around coming back down flat out, everyone trying to pick up on lost time from the morning so will look forward to that!! Just hope the wind and rain stay away
