Did anyone else see Microsoft's announcements and demos during the Build event!

Hololens demo (Massively impressive!)
Android & iOS apps ported on Windows 10
Windows Phone 10 Continuum

More to coming during the week apparently, but they appear to be upping the game significantly!!

Certainly did. As an MS employee I can tell you that MS is being very very open with the public - a lot of this stuff most of us internal people don't have much advance visibility of - there's a trend of announcing to the public at the same time as internally for those that don't have a direct need to know in advance.
There's a hell of a lot of cool stuff coming.

I'm trying like mad to get hololens access for my customer for an industry case study...

I think they are finally on the right road. Some exciting stuff there for good use within both a consumer and corporate environment.
