Microsoft Release RAW Codec Pack for Win 7

Microsoft have released a codec pack that allows RAW images to be viewed as thumbnails within the Explorer. Finally this has happened and is useful. Be sure to download right version. I have Intel x64 CPU and had to download amd64 for this to work, but it works

It's just the naming structure

The X86 is for 32 bit systems
The amd64 is for all 64bit systems

The existing Nikon codec does not support 64bit.
If you have 32bit and all is OK you do not need this.

In windows explorer go to 'folder and search' options (under 'organise' in win 7) and click on the view tab. Untick hide extension for known file types.

Sort by type might help also, will put group the jpgs and the RAWs separately.

Works fine on my old Canon rawfiles, although MS say is is suitable for Panasonic GF-1 raw files it doesn't seem to work for my GF-1.
Anyone with a GF-1 having the same problem
