Maybe time to stop using MSN Messenger....
 
My first thought, "it doesn't say they read the messages at all".
 
Thirty billion messages a month? M$ couldn't afford to pay enough people to read them all, not even Tesco could do that!.
 
It's not the fact that they DO read messages, it's more that they CAN. Even e-mails are fairly easily got at if your access priveleges are high enough.

How do we know that all the bots that we assume are trawling for search engines aren't actually looking for naughty words like bomb, drugs etc and then get flagged for someone to investigate?

Ain't modern life wonderful? How far do you think you can get without being spotted by ANPR cameras or CCTV? Got a mobile? Someone knows where you are. Got a store loyalty card? Someone knows how much you drink/smoke/eat chocolate!

Big Brother? Well, G.O. wasn't far wrong.
