Has anyone dealt with these people? They always seem to come to the top of the list when searching for an item on Google. But a couple of years ago I was looking for a Tokina ATX Pro 28-80mm F2.8 zoom (that had recently been discontinued by Tokina). Microglobe's website showed a new one, Nikon fit, in stock at a reasonable price. So I phoned them - to be told that "the one they had in stock had turned out to be faulty so was not available - they didn't know when they would get more in".

That same lens remained on their website for quite a long time after that, so I would be very disinclined to deal with them (and never have done).

Perhaps I got the wrong impression. Any experiences?

I returned a Sigma 70-300 APO for repairs as the gears stripped. Took about 9 weeks for them to return it. When it was returned the lens was a DG not APO. I don't know where the lens was replaced (Sigma or Microglobe), but I would have hoped that MicroGlobe would have least checked. Tried to ring them back about the mess up but gave up in the end and just sold the DG.

I ordered a flash on friday and it was delivered saturday so no problems here
