Microcord tlr question

Hi all , I fancy a microcord tlr , I've found a mint one but the seller can't tell me if it's a mk1 or the mk2 . The invoice is dated 1954 which I think means it could be either , is there any visual differences in the 2 models ?
I've been strongly advised to get the mk2 as the shutter is much better

According to http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Microcord the mk1 has a red window for the film counter and the mkii doesn't.

You're welcome. Also, thanks for the info about the shutter - the place I get my colour film developed has a Microcord that's been tempting me - good to know which model I should stay away from.
