Yes
Just had my first complete failure of a memory card:'(
its a Kingston 32GB that I was using in my Samsung s3 phone
it only lasted 2 weeks
Its gone back to Amazon and ive ordered a Samsung 32GB to replace it
Ive searched on the net and it seems that Kingston and sandisk micro SD's seem to be prone to failure, certainly when used in a mobile phone
I did not lose any data was backed up:)

It's probably the mobile phone that's killing the card, I've got a S3 & some of the custom kernels available for the phone don't play nice with various uSD cards

That's a shame the large screen is great to view photos
Am hoping I will have better luck with a Samsung card
I haven't customised it at all though

just had a search on the web , looks like Brian is right the S3 has a habit of frying memory cards:bang:
one of the reasons I got the s3 was because you can add on up to 64GB of memory with uSD cards but its pointless if it fries them
have taken the card out until I get to the bottom of whats happening as I dont want to b****r up another card:'(
shame as its a great phone at least there is a reasonable amount of built in memory enough for my music
was hoping to be able to store photos on there as well tho

I've got a 64Gb SanDisk Ultra card in my S3, never had a problem with it
