this is fairly new to me how I took this photo. Did it with the use of extn tubes attached to the camera lens. This is the same as using Macro(close up) lens
Except being able to get the shot from further away . I was at least 3 ft way for this one
Camera Panasonic G9 with 100-300mm lens and 2 extrn tubes


YP1012600.JPG could I could have editied it to sharpen- alter lighting etc but really wanted to show as taken apart from resizing to put on here. will do better next time
 
You are not going to get the best results shooting in harsh sunlight.
As with most subjects harsh sunlight it's not good.
 
Depends on the subject. Some you cannot get a lens close too . Spiders no problem but insects that fly are a different matter entirely

I disagree with that

These were taken with my Laowa 50mm C dreamer on my OMD E-M1ii and that requires you to be close and focus manually
