I have recently bought a Canon 5Dmk2 [ couldn't afford the mk3 ] I have a range of Canon L lenses .... 50mm i.2 L .... 16-35 2.8 L.....70-200 L is ... and 180 L macro.
My question is ...is it worth carrying out micro adjustment on all my lenses ?
I have calibrated the 180 macro , although I mainly use this lens in manual focus mode , but as focus is most important with macro I calibrated this lens for auto - focus as I thought I may need it for a grab shot .
But is it worth doing the rest of the lenses as I can always up the aperture .

I think only you can decide whether the effort will be worth it as all lens and camera combinations are potentially different. If you are happy with your finished images, fine just leave things as they are. I personally wouldn't go to the lengths of carrying out specific focus tests when my images are already acceptably sharp.

If it was me.. I would - you have nothing to lose.

I found that my current lenses are all spot on, but my previous Canon 50mm f1.8 ii needed -8 to be precise.

I doubt there's much point doing your 16-35 as this is such wide angle that you arent going to notice much if anything even from -20 to +20

The 50mm 1.2 however I would definitely do..

I tried several different methods when I got my 7D. As an example, my 70-200mm L measured -14 on one and 0 on the other. So I ended up leaving all my lenses at 0. I haven't seen any problems and I use minimum aperture quite a lot on the zoom and my 300mm f4.

Only if you think the primes are out?

As for the zooms, don't bother as what will be perfect at one focal setting will be off at another (especially with the 70-200).

If they don't really need MA you can cause more problems than you fix.
