After a mention of doing this from mikeyb over in the bird section, I started reading this article with interest http://www.kennewcombe.com/AFmicroadjust.html
And wondered how many of you have applied this? And what were your results like?

There is an alternative that uses a monitor screen. However I have used a similar version of the technique described on the web site you linked to. I used a different target, (home made, that was easier to focus on.). The good news was all my long lenses checked out OK

So I take it you tried different settings then Chappers, and saw no difference in sharpness, so reverted back to the original settings?

I am not even going to go there, my images look ok to me so I am not going to start looking for faults :D

:lol::lol: But it must be worth a look? :D

'can' and 'worms' are two words which spring immediately to mind.

So you are implying that once you start messing about with the settings, you cannot revert back to how it was? In which case can and worms makes sense:D

If it ain't broke I am not going to fix it:).

Not implying that at all  What I was implying however is that if you're anything like me, once you start playing with the micro adjust you'll be forever playing with it to check you've set it right.
