Well composed, excellent exposure and lighting - but I wish I hadn't clicked on it! :gag:
If I'd said sushi/sashimi would you have clicked:lol:

The fish looks fine - a good vet and all that. Fairly gruesome but at least it's different!

I was hoping it would pull through, but I'm afraid..........

Lol. Nicely composed and good take on the theme. I'm not sure what colour a crab is supposed to be but looks like it just needs a tad more saturation to me. Great stuff though

Crab was feeling a bit off colour on Friday!

Got your creative juices running now Mick ????? ( and the herrings by the look of it)

Good DOF and composition, (real pity you clipped the R/H side of the seaweed, Morrisons might have used it on their fish counter)

Keep up the good work, pleased with that shot.

Dave ....

A tad gruesome, but in a good way

One of the best chopped shots of the week IMO.
Lovely clean white background, pin sharp and the detail of the seaweed and bit of blood under the fish's head just make it.

I am seriously impressed with the quality of the shot and it's a really unique and interesting take on the theme.
Full marks from me this week!

Good shot - I think a tighter crop would also work well - perhaps have even more impact.

Phil

Love it - think it's a great take on chopped. Hope you had a nice tea out of that!!

Thanks to all for taking the time to comment. Its much appreciated...Mick

Interesting take on week 3 Mick, I really like it in a snappy sort of way (sorry), seriously, its a well composed shot

well you came out of your shell for this one :)

It is a most original piece for the them, lots of problems for folks this week :S
I like it - perhaps a little tighter - dont be afraid of getting in close (it wont bite, lol)
To relieve the gore factor - perhaps turn the fish tail slightly horizontal so we can see more of it and less of the innards, just a thought

Well its a bit late, decided to have a bit of fun with this one.Had a go at multiple exposure, see what you think

Brilliant! This is on my list of things to try. :)

That has worked really well, on the idea and processing.

Wow! That's a lot of costume changes!

Well done.
It's worked really well and took me a while to figure out what you'd done . . . which is a good thing because it wasn't really obvious.

A lot of thought and effort clearly went into this and it's really paid off

Brilliant Mick, absolutely brilliant. So much thought gone into this and I bet you're even waving out the windows of the flats in the background. Very well done

That's great Mick  Really made me chuckle and the detail is super.

Cheers, Rob

Absolutely brilliant Mick - how long did that take you to do and was it a case of cutting you out of each shot and adding to a layer on an original shot or could you just post them together?

What a nightmare........... please god make it all go away............

The world is wierd enough with just the normal one of you slumped in a doorway,............ no need to drag out the rest of Frankensteins experiments just to make a picture ..............

Quite honestly this is the best example of this type of shot I have seen, congratulations, I aplaud you sir.

Now please delete it cos its scaring me ......

Dave ....

.

This is a brilliant piece of work Mick, how long did that take? and its on my to do list.

Thanks to all for the kind replies, just glad it made a few of you Titter!

4 fine photos so far! Great effort put into that street shot and it's paid off. Of the lot my favourite is probably your second curve shot. It's a good'un!

That's brilliant - looks so natural it took me a few seconds to work out what you'd actually done.

That's a great effort... but are you really like all those people... :D

Seriously though, this is something I really should have a go at, if I can get something half as good as yours then I'd be happy.

Can you share your pp tricks so I can give it a try at the weekend...?

EPIC!

Absolutely love it!

brilliant  ,must have taken so much effort, bravo!

Week 3 Chopped: The trouble with commenting late is everything has already been said - so I'll just add ..

I like the colours and composition, and give you ful marks for originality - and execution (couldn't resist!)

Week 4 Street: That's really clever and your poses look so natural! It's a great take on the theme and I admire your patience in pulling it off so beautifully.

Mick that street pic is great. I want to try some thing like this. need to get a wire remote trigger.

Hi Guys, Really sorry I got behind but here's last weeks speed. Its been a few years since I've done something like this regards bashing wood, and yes it is done with no tricks.Breaking techniques always need to be done at full speed with total commitment. Luckily I got what I was after on the 3rd attempt. Diffused flash and continous high shutter speed.

Hehe i could see this being very painful if it took many more shots to get the desired effect

Really good shot though, well done :)
