woweee...another mega catch-up...from me & you :lol:

Rock...now that a beauty...nothing to crit just a big :clap:

Pair...really sharp so it jumps out of the screen at me , good color ...I'd have been tempted to shoot head on as per Andy's comment & crop out the top bit showing the green...just have all the focus on the wheels ?

Juxtapositon....can see the connection but a steam train train next to the modern one would have been even better ( don't want much do I :lol: ) colors do need a bit of a boost

Shape...get it framed big mister...cracking shots with perfect exposure & beautiful colors :clap::clap:

Plenty....not for me I'm afraid , a little too snapshotish especially in comparison to Shape

Speed....great captures the pair of them , never attempted this type of photography so not going to crit just give you a :thumbs:
 
Thanks all, looking again the juxta reshoot has lost a bit of colour, I thought it was better than that before upload, will have a look as I might have something better, but if not, I will reshoot it before the year is out!
The steam train wheels, I too would have preferred a side on shot, lighting was really awkward, it was so harsh I barely managed to get colour on the loco.
A steam next to a modern? Not sure if I managed it, I know I certainly tried! lol

rock is a nice moon shot, the red arrows shot is excellent and you have caught the lightning really well

Connection...quite like the colors & closeness of this one :thumbs:

Steps......always difficult with people about....bit snap shottish me thinks,.....I know you can do better

Curve...lovely ....sharp with plenty of detail

Mono...beautiful old car.....shame you clipped the shadow but I still like it :)

Power.....full head of steam caught there...would have been just fab if it had been coming toward you :thumbs:

Thanks Lynne, steps, I agree is certainly a bit snap shottish, might give it a re-shoot when I find something better.

hmmm - solititude - nice colours in the sky but the horizon seems slightly off..

of the other the whale really stands out... guessing this is a bit of a crop?? Might work as a wider shot (as in aspect ratio rather than zoom)

cute snipe - nice catch of the drip on his beak. focus on the eye and good feather detail :thumbs:

As Graham says nice colours in solitude but it does seem to need a slight straighten, the other 2 images which stand out are the Dolphin/shark not sure what it is but well captured and the bird for reflection works for me

Solitude I do like but def needs a ccw rotation

I get the connection for cut the image doesn't appeal ,too noisey & seems slightly oof but does kinda convey the rough feel of the sea

Steps......always difficult with people about....blooming people. Long exposure would have worked. Sky wasn't helping you.

Power.....full head of steam caught there...would have been just fab if it had been coming toward you and cracking ploom of smoke.

Whimsical, OOOhhh, like it. I do admire these guys and galls and would like to get to one of these reenactments.

Melt...lovely blue color but a little too central, though I do kinda quite like the angle

Art......Infra red effect on the bridge ? Works really well whatever ,has a sort of post-apocolyptic feel to it :thumbs:

Left....works perfectly , good dof , perfect focus :thumbs:

Art #2 for me. It has a real Man Ray feel to it.

Left, nice simple idea but it works for me.
