weekly Michael23's 2012 52 COMPLETED! WooHoo! Slide show added

Hi Michael, the last one for me, she's a cheeky little fairy :lol::lol::lol:

Indeed she is Liz

Blimey, sorry Michael seems I haven't visited for ages

Shiny - The colour shot for me, the red splash on the toaster is spot on !!!

Magical - Ahhhhhh waht a great set, My fav facial expression is on no:2 but for all round liking, No:3 for me is great, I bet she loved the session too

Thanks for popping by again  Glad I included both toaster pics, I much prefer the colour version now as it does fit the theme more. She certainly enjoyed the session, she also enjoyed telling me to lie down and pose the same way too

i think for me it is the colour edit of #1 a great shot well done

Thanks very much

I like the colour version of #1. She'll like that when she's older too. Great shot.

Right just playing catchup to get up to date now I've posted my Shiny late :( and still need to shoot my "magical".

Shiny Definitely the second toaster shot, that red definitely needs to be there.

Magical - I prefer the b&w versions (first one in particular with the nice tight crop) I don't like the colour of the pink dress as it's just too, almost fluorescent, pink.

Good job on both themes Michael, I think #2 is the winner for both... the red on the toatser pops it out nicely... Lovely portait too.

I may have to steal this idea and ask my daughter if she'll pose for me in her fairy dress! Not for this theme, but because I'd like a decent shot of her!

Go for it Marsh! I am glad I cleaned the trampoline down the other day! Used that for some of her poses so I could try and get level with her.

I like the colour version of #1. She'll like that when she's older too. Great shot.

Thanks Ben,

Hi John, thank you :)

Hi Ya

#3 for me....magical has to be pink...it's the law when you're a wee lass

Please click here for my picture for this weeks theme, as there was no nsfw tag on the thread title options, so posted it over in the nude and glamour section

Fancied doing something a little different and certainly shot on theme I think :naughty:

Like it. Well composed and subtle. B&w works really well.

Ill have closer look on my laptop tonight .... Purely for artistic purposes i must add ;)

I've been waiting since spotting this at lunchtime to open this thread. Being at work I thought it better to wait given the NSFW tag. ;)

Good one for this theme. I'm the same as Andy - I think the B&W approach works.

Magical - gorgeous, she is so cheeky and cute! #1 for me. I like the B&W version but colour works too

Vice - Good take on it, like the B&W and the angles of the shots. Nice set to meet the theme.

Thanks Andy, artistic purposes, I like that :D

I like the mood of the pic which is certainly enhanced by the b+w,

Hi Alex, thanks for popping in  Pleased you like the pics, I am very happy with the latest 2

oh I love the last fairy posted, she's so cute - didn't look at the vice sorry - I don't tend to look in the N&G section *prude*

Hiya Summer thanks for the comment on magical, pleased you like it. As for vice, no worries, the image isn't on the nude side, I just had to place it there incase anyone was to view whilst in there place of work  It will appear on my flickr at some point, I have ran out of space for the month.

Hi Michael, playing catch up again, having been busy due to work and injuring myself falling down stairs, and still haven't taken my Magical week yet :help:

Magical - love these, especially the colour versions.

Vice - again cracking shots and for me well lit too

There is nothing like having NSFW in the tittle to get me interested!

Great idea for the theme Michael.
The composition works as does the clothing (I wont ask if the clothing was bought for the shoot :D). The mono conversion is good too, but it's the bedding that lets it down for me, I find it distracting and not in keeping with the theme.

Perhaps by a street light or against the house wall under a security light if you have one.
The same composition would work with the four different angles, but the wall (or pavement) would add to the vice theme IMO.

Great take on theme though and what you got is good.

Neil

Brilliant shot for vice Michael, I love everything about it; your best yet IMHO.

Thanks Simon, hope you feel better soon  Pleased you like the pics :)

Vice

well Michael, i can safely say you nailed it.

Lighting bang on and looks great B+W

Hi Darren, thanks very much

Thanks very much Neil, certainly a good idea with the street lights or house wall. Thanks for popping by

Interesting and very good set of shots Michael. Well done

Vice - I like where you were going with it but it is too dark I think, really finding it hard to distinguish the background from the person. Also the large pattern flower on the blanket / cover in the upper left and lower right pictures are distracting me slightly.

Hi Michael

very impressed with your Vice shots....always good to try a different aspect of photography & I think you've done really well here  B&W suits the images , darkness adds to the Vice feeling , bedding possibly not quite in keeping with the theme but you have to work with what you've got ....yup good work mister

hi Paul, thanks for commenting and giving me your thoughts, all taken on board.

Hiya Lynne, thanks for the comments, pleased you are impressed

I like this, its well thought out and taken. I like the lighting and composition. Black and white suits it as well!!

thanks very much Sarah. :)

HI Michael I really like your idea for Vice and it certainly fits with the theme. I think the compostion with the four shots looks really good.

I agree that the bedding maybe isn't the best choice, but the dark side to it I think adds to the theme:clap:

After such a rough and rubbish few days, getting over general anesthetic from a dental op, I decided to get a bit of air in the garden and played with my camera. I was looking at the daffodils and thought like an insect and out of the box! Been really hard work to get doors out of my head!

So, to be a little different, hope it works

Week 14,entrance to the pollen by scilly puffin, on Flickr

like it. Cracking BG that really emphasises the flower.

The stigma looks like it's glowing. I has an ethereal feel to it.

Only one small issue for me and that's the right tip. I'm not keen on it just touching the edge, but I suspect there was no way around this.

500mm...that's a long lens for such a delicate flower.

Cheers.

I like the out of the box creative thinking on this one Michael:thumbs:
All technical aspects of the photograph are spot on, my only minor crit is that the entrance to the flower itself is quite central in the frame. Have you considered a B&W conversion? Might work IMHO. Iain

500mm lens! Where were you, three streets away!?

I like the shot, but I'm not so sure about the lighting. I'm not sure what it is, but I find myself wishing it had a bit more life to it?
