:love: That cat shot is simply beautiful.
I love the PP that you've used. You've managed to bring out the absolute best in the colours and textures of his coat.
The little bit of humour in the cushion finishes it off perfectly.

Indulgence looks delicious. Well lit and lovely contrast and detail in the sponge.
For me the DoF is just a touch too narrow. I'd like to see all of the side of the slice in focus, but I think that's a personal taste thing rather than anything wrong with it.

Lots of detail in this, with good lighting and colours. It looks scrumptious! Just a tad more DOF would be nice as Sarah suggests but it doesn't really bother me.
 
Indulgence, very well presented, good DOF to isolate the subject from the back ground. Good detail in the cake. I like the tight framing too.

And best of all you can eat it when the shoot is finished :)

this my my first (successful) attempt at using a reversing ring.. I know the dandelion head is a little blown, but it doesn't bother me too much.. was chuffed to have finally worked out how to do it :)

have to catch up with comments for you all.. will do soon x

Isolation, excellent, nice DOF, love the pair of isolated seeds...

Isolation....They look great against the black background. Great use of the reversing ring also.
 
thanks :) am so far behind.. feel like packing in can't keep up with comments for everyone.. will give it a go to catch up and see how it goes over the next week as going away at the end of the month so will drop even further back..

Love it! Really made me smile . . . and you really should know better than to let them loose in your kitchen.

Stop : :thinking: That's puzzling, but I like it.
Not sure that the verticals are totally vertical, but that kind of adds to the feel of it.
Where was it taken? It looks like they've gone a bit OTT with the health and safety signs.

Isolation : Beautifully simple and very effective against the black b/g.
Well done on getting the reversing ring working.

Quality : That's my favourite out of your catch up.
Not sure what PP you've done, but I love the soft dreamy feel to it and the reflected light around the inside of the bowl is just gorgeous.
My only criticism is the patterned tablecloth underneath it. I'm not sure that it's really adding anything to the image.
 
I agree with Sarah on quality, lovely image of the blueberries... not sure on the backdrop...

don't give up, you're not too far behind, and no need to catch up straight away, just jump in with the current next weeks theme (this weeks is horrible... take the oppo to skip it :D)
