thanks guys..

the red is food colouring being poured into water.. was a PITA to get the background white, had to use layers as kept losing the stem of the glass when upping the levels.. it'll have to do ;)

am changing todays shot to this one.. took the other in a hurry this morning.. prefer this taken with my compact whilst out for a walk with a chap I support at work..

did plan to take tom to the park today but rain stopped play, he had just as much fun indoors though :)
 
55 is really good. i am enjoying the whole plant photography thing at the moment...
56, what can i say? excellent! kids are such brilliant subjects, facial expression, verve, enthusiasm, its all there. so much more open than adults...

its sparkling water in a pint glass.. the tips arent as sharp as i'd wanted but didnt have a lot of time to do this.. never mind its ok medium sized ;)

thanks.. it was in my garage, natural light with the door closed slightly to cast shadows.. used shutter priority and a 2 sec exposure.. shone an LED light around the oil can and bolts to highlight them..

PP, used a texture overlayed with a slight vignette to give a gritty feel to it also..

a lot of thought and forward planning went into that shot, i really like it. i think i need to have a play with photoshop some more, i only use Lightroom at the mo

super ace cat yawn!! Really love the DOF to it, and the focus is miraculous!! Such a cute (brilliant coloured) nose!
