Mice

And here was me thinking you administered a pair of lethal injections...

Just to reiterate one point though BASE of the tail.
If you pull from the tip its likely to break off,
also, its more of a back and up movement in one.
Although I put my thumb and first finger of left hand tight in the base of the ears,
where you can feel the skull, works on rats too.

Does that work on snakes too :D:p

It's hardly the mouse's fault. Why didn't you just kill it quickly, instead of leaving it struggling and "crying out"? For Pete's sake.
Ask her. It was in her bedroom and she was the one upset about it.

If it was in my bedroom, I have a nice heavy mallet to drop on its head!

Food items all in tins/plastic tubs and I find these have a 100% catch rate.

Does that work on snakes too :D:p

No, for them, you pick them up (with care...) and hold them just behind the hood then crack them like a whip.

Get a snake. Corn snakes eat mice and rarely bite, plus, you can play with them. Mouse problem solved and a great pet, win-win situation:)

Sorry you are right, there is an identical design for mice and it is brilliant (I need to check my links :D )
Yep they are fine, as said before but the 'Gator type traps are not strong enough to clean kill,
or indeed even "hold" in most circumstances.

Just be aware of this happening though.

He he, yes the wooden models are about as effective as a sponge sledge hammer generally :)

Bucket. Can or bottle skewered though the middle so it spins freely. Smear with peanut butter and place across top of bucket. Position bucket where top can be easily accessed by mice. Fill bucket with a few inches of water. Catch multiple vermin!

Prefer snappy traps myself though.
