Hi guys.
Mice with high DPI are alien to me. Can someone explain what onscreen effect a mouse with 3500DPI or 8200DPI has either during a Photoshop session or a Call of Duty type game.
I can only imagine and I'd guess and say the merest touch sends the mouse pointer flying across the screen?

I was looking at Ambidextrous mice and shortlisted Razer's Taipan & Steelseries Sensi RAW (the RAW appealing because of a non glossy surface).

Cheers :)

Higher DPI is the more sensitive it is, although I believe a High DPI mouse turned down will still be quicker to react and more accurate than a lower DPI mouse.

Most will be switchable, so you'll find where you're happy.

Oh that's good then, at least you can slow them down if they are too sensitive, cheers :)

I have a Razer Imperator and love the ability to switch dpi on the fly.

I do like the Deathadder Neil - they made one for us 'lefties' too.

Get an Intuos tablet for image editing and throw your mouse in the bin. No matter what mouse you get it will never have the same accuracy of a pen.

Subjective. I had a tablet and sold it because i preferred a mouse.
:agree: I have an Intuos 3 Medium sat ontop of my printer..... It's great if you want to do pixel level editing, but I hardly ever do that...

I use my pen and tablet for everything. I have a mouse in a drawer that I never use. :)

I'm gonna get an Intuos, having used a friends it was already as accurate as I am with a mouse, having only used it for 30 mins, so can only get better.
