Mi fi laptops with Cf card reader?

Dell do laptops that have SD slots and will take a sim card, not sure if there is software available that could provide a hotspot utilising the sim card

Windows 8 can work as a hot spot. Or if you have a Windows Phone that's paired by Bluetooth to your laptop then it will magically appear as a WiFi hotspot - and when you connect it'll automatically start up WiFi internet sharing. I get 20mb down on my lumia :-)

I use an Archos tablet with a 500GB hard drive. It supports USB host so I plug in a card reader and pull all my pics across to that.
Older(larger) laptops will have a PCMICIA slot which you can plug an adaptor in to use CF.
As said above you can get internal modems which can be used to share a internet connection.
Most laptops will come with an SD slot and a lot of the business models from lenovo/hp/dell etc will have a the space for 3G/4G modem.

What are you trying to achieve a high end phone/tablet that supports USB host might be a better option?

I do football and other photography away from home and want the simplest way to transfere photos from camera to laptop,it has to be laptop because editing and captioning software will be used. Then transmit the photos ASAP.The problem at the moment is a laptop, mifi unit and card reader are required to achive this.3 seperate items it would be great if it was all incorporated into a small laptop, open laptop, insert card, edit, send.

In that case you don't need the MiFi, any laptop with a SD slot and a sim card would do

Which laptops have sim cards? and there is the problem of I use SD AND CF cards.

I can't think of a single laptop or tablet with a built in CF reader, they are pretty much standardised on an SD slot.

Dell Latitude have them as an option

EDIT: WWAN option, you might struggle to find a laptop with CF reader

You will need to do a search of laptops that have 3G/4G modem built in these will mostly be business orientated ones.
Something like this(Look under network options

PCMCIA did adaptors to CF but that has been phased out so you need to look out for a laptop with ExpressCard 54 but this will still need an adaptor

I think the only solution to get you down to one device is a laptop like above with 3G/4G integrated and to move over to a new body that accepts SD cards as well as CF.

The other option is to get an older laptop that has PCMCIA but this will be slower and more bulky in general.

CFs are generally only used by camera people where as SD/microSD is used by pretty much everyone hence SD readers on every laptop

Forgot to add, the above is just a modem so you will need to pop your own sim card in there too. I think this will be the case for most if not all laptops

Thanks for all the replies. It comes down to speed particularly were editing and transmitting for sport is concerned.
I have had a look around on the net and have found out that the very laptop I am using Lenovo X61 has a 3g sim card slot but I am am using 4g at present.
Another question.I have never used a touch screen and some laptops have that function.Does it mean that editing software such as photoshop ect can be use as touch screen? If so that might speed things up a bit.

You may be able to replace the existing 3G modem with a 4G modem.
To be honest if speed is that crucial to you I would get a couple of mifi's connected to different networks. That way you can connect to the best network at a given location.
Also depending on the network conditions 3G on one network can be faster than 4G on another!

I don't see the point of what you are looking for. If you want the laptop connected to the internet, can't you use your phone as a hotspot ?
Then plug camera or card reader into laptop, all together shouldn't take longer than 20 seconds. If speed is that vital, then editing on an X61 is likely to be the bottleneck.
