right following comments on my previous post . how do peeps feel about starting up a thread of MFT PHOTOS , any camera oly or pano any lens including classic manual focus via adaptors , this would keep the main two threads clear for setting enquirers etc without getting befuddled by others photos , it would also showcase MFT without getting into the other classifications
 
Go for it! Make sure to put 'Official' at the start though :D
 
So no pictures in the other threads ? not sure a third thread wouldnt confuse people more as to which thread to use
 
Photos in the photo thread, talk in the talk thread unless its to ilustrate a problem or feature. Whats to confuse there? Could it be any clearer?
 
As many will view the thread with the idea of buying in to m4/3 showing what it can or cant do seems good to me.

Seems to me that this is looking to fix a problem that doesn't exist. For me personally, I have very limited time to properly interact with the forum these days, so I only regularly dip into the dedicated Panasonic thread in any detail, and enjoy having everything in one place. Having to go to two or more forum threads for the same thing would be a backwards step IMHO. Of course, YMMV (y).

Was a good idea, shouldn't have done this thread just went for it tbh.

Like I said Keith, just my opinion. People are free to start whatever threads they like.

It wasn't a dig at you personally, or I'd have quoted you, but in general. I'm seeing people come out of the woodwork with a say and they never post. It's up to blackfox, it's his idea, but I just don't like to see ideas pounced on when it doesn't matter to those people
 
This one is looking like it’s worth doing , now does it need to go in the equipment section or photos section ?

If it's just to show the "Pretty Pictures" made with MFT then in the Photo Section surly? The sole manufacturers threads are in the Equipment section for general chat and quirys and a lot of lee way goes on for inter manufacture coments and quireys there.

Photos for pleasure section, unless we want to get bogged down with critiqe, plenty of other threads for that.
 
So it looks like start a thread up in photos for pleasure the only rules being they have to be taken on a MFT camera body, any lens allowed including classical and legacy ,preferably exit info included or at least the lens type if legacy , .... K.i.s.s rules really , any type of photo allowed bar porn . Had a good day out today so get it rolling later
 
I have started it off in photos for pleasure , feel free to add pics and get the ball rolling
