Hi guys
I have a metz 36af-4p flash which has seen a fairly light amount of use and has always worked nicely.
At the moment, the 'ready' light only comes on when the flash is pointing forwards; if I raise the head to point at the ceiling the light goes out and the flash won't fire. I have tried it with different batteries to no avail. Sometimes the flash will fire in the up position if you jostle with the head in between the 'clicks' leading me to think it's a dodgy connection.
Can anyone advise? Should I take it apart, I'm assuming it isn't covered by a warranty (I bought it from SRS in June and the booklet doesn't mention any sort of warranty)
