I may have missed the news elsewhere, but just stumbled across an advert in AP, turns out AG Photographic have taken over Peter Gaffneys Metro Colour Labs in Birmingham. Not sure if anyone else, other than me, on here uses them, but the freepost packaging labels they supply for your next order are now redundant as they've moved.

Glad I stumbled across this as I've just today finished a film and was going to post it this week, so it nearly went to the wrong place, but new labels can be printed off AG's website.

Sent off a few rolls to them last week, very impressed, think I'll be using them rather than peak imaging from now on.

It hadn't clicked that they had taken over Peter Gafneys. I used them a couple of weeks ago to dev and scan a C41 roll.

They did a nice job and turned the negs and disc around very quickly.

I will sending my next lot of MF rolls to them.

Free post labels to dowload are a real help too.

Plan to call in when I am next in the Second City.

I used them a few weeks ago and the quality was very good but the turn around time was a little slow (over 2 weeks).
I use Peak now and I find them the best I have used so far.

Does this mean that the Peter Gaffney Metro Colour prices listed on their website are now invalid or just that they need to be sent to the new lab?

I'm trying to find a place that charges less that £9 for E6 Process and Mount including delivery both ways, I did use the Darkroom which charged £7.90 but with them now charging £3 postage back its a bit too much. I found Peter Gaffney Metro Colour who charge £7.50 with 2nd class or £8.50 with 1st which seemed quite reasonable to me. Now with AG taking it over, I just hope that those prices are still valid. AG want £9.98 as they stick mounted slides into the medium postage band.

Mine came back within 4 days, I did read on their site E6 might take a bit longer.
