Yes
Any thoughts on them, considering getting a pc from them but unsure as they are not a well recognised brand like dell / hp.

Thanks

Thanks

I bought a new desktop from them about 3 years back
I was considering building my own as I have always done, but when I added up all the parts I couldn't match their prices at the time and of course that came with the OS installed and warranty

i have not had a single problem with the machine and recently added a FireWire card and extra memory (up to 8gb).....it's a quad core AMD machine, with good quality components, plus Iiyama HD 22" montior. I use it heavily with LR4, photoshop 5, GIMP, Office 2010 and use it as a home recording studio with additional external audio interfaces (1 FireWire mixing desk and a USB audio interface too)

The best PC buy I have ever done. Fast delivery and good customer service too...if you don't see exactly what you need just call them or email

So in short, I would recommend them! :)

I've bought a pc from them. But my experience is of no relevance really as it was 21 years ago

I was just about to say I bought a PC from them in the 90s. They are a long established company. Systems are still very decent and reasonable value for money

maybe it is as they are still about after 21 years

Their building and delivery service can be appalling. However the systems are great value for money. Just don't expect Dell standards of customer service when it comes to delivery.

I had an argument about the built in graphics - the description was unclear and having 'clarified' by phone that it was a proper graphics card they wouldn't budge when the PC had onboard graphics, although in the midst of my dispute they changed the ambiguous wording on their website. It was also delivered late, meaning a trip to the Couriers to pick it up.

My Inlaws PC was also a late arrival, necessitating me taking a day off work to get it sorted for them.

My cousins PC was delivered without a screen, which they then had to emergency courier to him, then he realised the TV tuner was also missing (again an emergency courier to fix) so 2 rushed courier jobs will have more than blown their profit on his order.

I thought they'd gone bust a few years ago? Is this a 'new' company?

Yes! details here.
