Yes
Two gulls, with attitude, looking for an apartment in Newcastle rather than live on a rooftop. I do know its quite cold up there in the North East..lol. One of the two residents said " 'I even googled how long seagulls live for hoping that they might just die because we are demented, but they live for 20 years.'

I wonder if they are seeing their reflection in the window?

There was just one gull at first then another arrived. It's mate, maybe ? There are funny videos online of birds reacting to their reflections,.,.ie car wing mirriors..I recall a very funny one involving a Blue Tit. These gulls seem to be looking inside, though .Maybe they see food..dunno.

SFT recommends spikes. They're used as lot, I see, (link).Bird control spikes. Usinging nails won't do the trick..

The continuous attacking sounds more like territorial aggression than feeeding. Might be easy to check that with a mirror or black paper/paint/whatever on the window so they can’t see in or bright light to stop the glass acting as a mirror.

Though given the source it sounds a bit like attention seeking (the humans not the birds) to me. ;(
